The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act prohibits gambling businesses from disbursing or accepting payments in connection with unlawful Internet gambling. Under the Act, any person engaged in the business of betting or wagering is prohibited from completing "restricted transactions" or knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in unlawful Internet gambling.
LincolnWay Community Bank will restrict any transactions connected with unlawful Internet gambling. If unlawful activity is detected, the account may be restricted or closed.
RECENT EVENTS
LincolnWay Community Bank hosted their 3rd Annual Pet Adoption & Awareness Day on Saturday, August 28th. Ten local shelters and rescue organizations were in attendance with dozens of animals available for adoption.
It was a successful event and we would like to thank all of the shelters and rescue groups for participating as well as the community for their attendance.
